Cynapps IntelliOMS is a FIX message simulator that allows you to generate and manage new FIX orders and take control of your FIX testing. IntelliOMS allows you to simulate the buy-side asset management workflow.

You no longer have to rely on external parties (asset managers) to test your FIX environment. IntelliOMS allows you to connect to your FIX engine to send and receive FIX messages giving you full control over all traffic flow. IntelliOMS allows simulation of the buy-side workflow giving you the ability to easily generate and manage new orders into your order execution system via FIX.

Intelligent Session Management

We know how difficult it can be to establish and keep a FIX session connected. Sequence numbers can be confusing and mismatches can lead to a lot of wasted time. Cynapps IntelliOMS is able to intelligently set it’s sequence numbers to match incoming FIX messages. All you have to do is launch IntelliOMS and let it take care of the rest.

Simple Operation

Since not everyone is a FIX expert we have made IntelliOMS as simple and intuitive to use as possible. Creating new orders is fast and requires no knowledge of FIX. To manage existing orders simply select an order and click on the action you want to perform, a FIX message will be automatically generated and sent to your FIX engine. You don’t have to worry about the tags and values.

Advanced Message Editing

The simplicity of IntelliOMS is coupled with advanced message editing options, you have the ability to define exactly which tags and values should be used for each individual message type. Use the new order screen to add custom tags to new FIX orders to test your FIX engine’s response to custom tags. You can even manually add, remove and amend individual tags and values from your FIX messages before they are sent. This level of flexibility means that you can test your FIX engine’s response to unexpected FIX message formats.

Replay FIX Log Files

IntelliOMS is able to read a FIX log file to extract and send all new orders from that file. This is great for reproducing production issues by replaying production orders against your FIX engine. Choose to send all orders at once, at a certain time interval or to maintain the periodicity of the original log file. IntelliOMS also allows you to send individual FIX orders by simply copying and pasting the FIX message string into the new order screen.

Export Options

Sharing FIX messages is a vital part of any support process. Cynapps IntelliOMS enables you to export messages in a format that’s easy and simple to share and understand.

Data Dictionaries

Cynapps IntelliOMS stores all FIX data dictionaries. Have all FIX data dictionaries available to you at all times with no dependency on slow unmaintained external websites. IntelliOMS has full support for custom data dictionaries and custom tags.
